Ann’s Story

Lillian “Ann” Williams – Survivor of Stage T4B Breast Cancer

This experience was truly a miracle! I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I also had (13) lymph nodes that were matted together with cancer. I had a tumor which was the size of a grapefruit. My Cancer was in the most chronic stage T4B. The doctor asked was I interested in saving my breast, of course not I was interested in saving my life.

My treatment consisted of (12) Chemotherapy sessions followed with 7-8 weeks of radiation (5) days per week. I was so sick from the Chemo it felt as though I wanted to give up HOPE. I cried out to the Head Physician which is God Almighty. He gave me the Hope and the Faith I needed to succeed. That’s when I realized I had Cancer, Cancer didn’t have me. I wanted to live; God gave me the strength to fight and the courage I needed to win this battle. My daughters supported me every step of the way. Together as a team we fought the battle with Cancer and won, and guess what so can you!

My daughter Day’nah is the founder of Ann’s Helping Hands. I felt so blessed having her by my side. When she says “Hands that Understand” that is an understatement. Day’nah’s heart is so pure and she strives to help others Cancer or not! I was very pleased when she decided to start this foundation. It gave me hope that rather I live or rather its my time to pass on, that she will continue to do a good deed by assisting those who need her the most.

The victory is yours in the battle against Cancer. Whatever you do PLEASE don’t loose HOPE!

Sincerely,

Lillian “Ann” Williams

The foundation is named after my mother. The very positive and humble Lillian “Ann” Williams. A strong woman who have battled cancer twice. She recently passed away 10 years after sharing her journey.

May God continue to bless everyone’s journey to wellness.
